Dinacharya

A day is divided in eight divisions, each one of them is called as “Prahar". Bramha Muhoorta is that time early in the morning when the sun is about to rise. Body is at a complete neutral phase at this time. The nature is yet to adopt the changes and bio cycle is also in a state of beginning. We should make sure that with the rise of sun our bodys biological cycle starts in sync with the natures cycle. This helps keep the Dosha in a balanced state as they are able to conduct their natural and designated function. The adjoining chart demonstrates the tasks ideal for every ones Dinacharya.

A year is divided in six seasons according to climatic changes. Uttarayana/Northword movement of sun is also called as Adana Kala, While Dakshinayana/ Southward movement of Sun is also called as Visarga Kala. Adana Kala brings about dehydration and pulls the cosmic energy and leaves us a little low on energy, while Visarga Kala hydrates and the cosmic energy releases during this time and enables us to absorb this energy.

Adana Kala has three seasons mainly:

  • Shishir - Late Winters Magh & Phalgun [January - February — March]
  • Vasanta - Spring Chaitra & Vaishakh [March - April - May]
  • Greeshma - Summer Iyeshta & Ashadh [May - Iune - July]

Visarga Kala has three seasons namely:

  • Varsha - Monsoon Shravan &bhadra [July - August - September]
  • Sharad - Autumn Ashwin & Kartik [September- October—November]
  • Hemanta - Early Winter Margashirsha & Pausha[November - December - January]

A chart briefs about the seasonal variation that one needs to follow during these seasons so as to stay fit and healthy.
